Adrian von Ziegler

While writing on my current work in progress, The Victorian I have listened to everything in my music library to try and find the sound that mimics what is in my head. I had no luck until I went back to an album that I purchased years ago. That album is Mortualia by Adrian von Ziegler.

Adrian von Ziegler
I originally purchased Mortualia as writing music for a vampiric queen's story I was crafting. However since I stopped working on that project, I haven't gone back to Adrian's music. Which I now realise is a massive injustice to my ears.

Adrian is an instrumental music composer from Switzerland. A lot of his work does not contain lyrics to enable open interpretation of the story the notes weave. This is one of the many reasons his music is a gorgeous thing to write to.

You can find him on SoundCloud, YouTube, iTunes, Blogger, you get the point. He's everywhere. His music is something special and I implore you to listen to some of it. I've posted some tracks below that I love. These are just a small portion of what Adrian has to offer.
